New Business Manager - Midlands, UK

The role...
InterWorks is a business intelligence consultancy specialising in Tableau software. We are a high growth company looking for the next wave of high achieving talent to join the team. There is a growing number of UK organisations in the £100m to £2bn turnover range who wish to exploit the full value that resides in their data through the use of intelligent analytics and experienced consulting resource. Your role is to identify and collaborate with those companies.

You will achieve this by combining your own skills with Tableau (which we will train you on so that you are a capable user of the product in your own right) along with leveraging the consulting resources within our leading consulting practice to help with POCs, technical demos and presentations of the client's desired solution. It is your responsibility to give our clients a great and accurate experience of both the product and our consulting depth together with an accelerated sales process.

  • Location:  This position would best suit someone who lives in or near one of the major metropolitan areas in the midlands. 


As a New Business Manager for InterWorks, you’ll be responsible for: 

  • Driving sales of software and professional services through the acquisition of new customers in the United Kingdom, 
  • You will carry a quota from the outset and your aim is to exceed your sales objectives.  
  • You will manage all aspects of the sales process including lead generation, lead management, qualification, evaluation, closing new business and account care. 
  • You understand that the accurate recording of sales activities in to our CRM (Salesforce) is a necessary and vital part of the role and your success
  • This role involves some UK travel.
  • You will be given training and support to develop your own skills with the product and to understand how it fits in to the competitive landscape.
  • There is a 2 week onboarding bootcamp where you will receive product training followed by access to resources for ongoing professional development as well as training opportunities and team lead mentorship
  • The remuneration package consists of a salary of £35,000 to £45,000 + OTC + generous holiday + perks / benefits + pension + healthcare plan + CPD
