Senior Sales Account Manager - DACH

InterWorks is a business intelligence consultancy specialising in Tableau software. We are a high growth company looking for the next wave of high achieving talent to join the team.
This role requires you to work closely together with Tableau's own sales team on the whole sales lifecycle from lead generation and initial qualification through to deal completion for both new and existing accounts. As an Sales Executive for a leading engaged and aligned Tableau partner you bring to the table all of the advantages of a large consulting team who are experienced in infrastructure, development, customisation, training and enablement. Your role is to collaborate with the Tableau team and leverage those advantages so that potential clients considering Tableau and InterWorks for their analytics solution have a smooth, secure, informed experience. 
You will be working mainly with the corporate team on accounts of €100m to €2b revenues across a range of verticals, although there may be some specialisation by industry or geography.

  • Experience:  5 to 8 years of relevant prior experience in sales is essential. Your ability to sell flows from having an outgoing and approachable personality along with a drive to secure success for your clients and the company.

  • Future:  You will become an indispensable member of our sales team. As the company grows there is the possibility of a position as a Sales Manager or into a more technical direction as Pre-Sales-Consultant.
  • Location:  This position would best suit someone who lives near or in Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich, Zurich or Vienna.


As an Account Manager for InterWorks: 

  • You will be driving sales of software and professional services in the DACH.
  • You will carry a quota from the outset and your aim is to exceed your sales objectives.  
  • You will manage all aspects of the sales process including lead generation, lead management, qualification, evaluation, closing new business and account care. 
  • You will take care about 5 to 10 key accounts in Europe.
  • You understand that the accurate recording of sales activities in to our CRM (Salesforce) is a necessary and vital part of the role and your success.
  • This role involves some DACH travel.
  • You will be given training and support to develop your own skills with the product and to understand how it fits in to the competitive landscape.
  • There is a 2 week onboarding bootcamp where you will receive product training followed by access to resources for ongoing professional development as well as training opportunities and team lead mentorship
  • The remuneration package consists of  €56,000 to €68,000 salary + OTC + perks / benefits + pension + professional development
